My 2014 resolutions are (1) to not always take the lazy 'Copic' option, and instead reach for the paintbrush and Distress Ink reinkers, and (2) to use what stash I have and not buy more (hmm, it's probably best if you don't ask me how successful that was!). I love your feedback on my creations and I read every message, so please leave a comment, or use my sidebar 'chatbox' widget to let me know you've visited.

Robin on Sign

I've used a sweet little robin from the new release at Purple Onion Designs and perched him on a wooden sign that I had from a previous release.  Their images are great because you can mix and match them together to create an infinite number of different scenes.   I've also carefully stamped a little 'hi' into the sign.

I've also used my new Wild Rose Studio Corner Flourish die, used two die cuts to create a brown floral frame around the top of the card.  The die shapes fit together almost perfectly on the 6" card bases that I use.

  13. This is absolutely adorable! That little robin is so lovable and you've given it such a lovely setting. The flowers and lace and ribbon give it a wonderful sense of texture and the colors are yummy! Your attention to detail is incredible and I like how you added the bits of glitter here and there. Beautiful job and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
